Chiquis said “Everyone lost my mom on December 9th. I lost her two months earlier. I lost her on October 2nd, 2012. It was a misunderstanding and for me that day my world ended. Everyday I live with that. Nobody knows the pain I carry around, and even more so because it was a misunderstanding, because there were people in the middle causing the pain, so many problems, that it’s difficult not to get upset. We didn’t talk. No communication. I never had that opportunity to be able to sit with my mom and explain to her. Everyday I wake up with that pain and I go to sleep with that pain, and it’s been very difficult.”

Chiquis then addressed the rumor that she was the one responsible for ending her mother’s relationship with former MLB player Esteban Loazia who she allegedly slept with “I don’t know where that rumor came from. This horrible thing that has caused so much pain. He was always respectful with me, and I was always respectful with him. I think to this day that my mom in her heart thought that I had something with Esteban. I knew when my mom got married that she wasn’t in love with Esteban.”

Lastly Chiquis ended the interview by revealing that her mothers thing in her room and bathroom haven’t been touched. She said “I still haven’t been able to face my pain. She left her pajamas, they are still there, in the bathroom. Her bed is just how she left it. We haven’t made it. I don’t want anyone to touch her bed so it stays just as she left it. I remember that I smelled her pillow and it smelled like her and it was very difficult. Now it doesn’t smell like her.”
